THE BOTTOM LINE OF PRESIDENT'S DUTY

After US presidential election on Nov.4, seems like the most talk topics worldwide is BARACK OBAMA. But lately, the buzz start to sound a bit to the negative tone, which is FEAR. Here, in Switzerland, there were some friends of mine who started to come up with the expression of fear that Barack Obama will protect American interest too much and it will hurt the interest of the foreigners. They said he is , now, a totally different Barack Obama than the one they knew on the campaign trail.

Over protecting American's interest, is it bad or not? Well, it depends on how you look at this matter. For American people, it's a right thing to do. He is the president of America, it's American people who voted for him, so it's totally fair if he protected American's interest.

The problem is people worldwide was so passionate to support Barack Obama during the campaign trail even though they knew they could not vote for him. And now, once he elected as president, everyone thinks that Barack Obama should protect them too. Very obvious example is from President Karzai and President Olmert, both leaders already asked Barack Obama to put their country's problem as priority things to do on his Agenda once he takes over the office on January 20. Come on...his first priority of course, FIX THE ECONOMY in US SOIL...that's very important to remember...BARACK OBAMA FIRST PRIORTY IS TO FIX THE US's ECONOMY...not economy in other country. Face it, it will be ridiculous if Barack Obama helping other's economy to recover and let US's economy doomed.

I wonder what that guy were doing? Did he really look at the artworks or something else? What did he has in mind? Sitting upstraight in the middle of a windy afternoon in Palma de Mallorca. You might think he watched the sunset, but sunset actually was on the opposite site of where he was looking at.

Holiday Wreath

Holiday is coming soon, and I am not ready at all :( Just say....in the last couple of weeks I became completely unproductive for my etsy shop. I rarely make new bags - how sad is that?? And just last week, I realize that we are only about 1.5 months away from Christmas day, and I haven't do any single thing for that big day, not even painting my wall which I normally do it every single year :(

So last weekend, I went to BHG's website, try to get some idea for what kind of Christmas craft I could make, but I want to make sure if I could any recycleable things that I have at home, try to safe a buck or two. then I found the idea of making the wreath using wine corks.

We got plenty of corks at home, and luckily until now I haven't get a chance to take them to the recycle place, so I could get a good use of them.

On the weekend, I already bought a sterofoam wreath and some artifical flowers and a velvet bow. To make it actually is pretty easy as long as you have lots of corks and lots of refill for your glue gun, cause this projects really need lot of GLUE. Glue corks on the sterofoam wreath in the pattern you like, or you can even do it without pattern a.k.a abstract. Squeeze bunches of artificial flowers in between the opening of the corks. At last, glue the bow either in the center top or bottom, 4 o'clock position or 11 o'clock position could be great too.

I saw this townhouse near the waterfront area of Stavanger, Norway. I just found that the position of the door is a bit bizzare, I mean look at that, the door is on the second floor but their neither any balcon nor stairs, should I call it the Danger Door? I hope the owner would sealed the door properly before any unwanted accident from happening.

Hope never fade

Just in on CNN....Barack Obama is projected to be the next US president. What a day!!!! First time in the history, African-American could be put in the equal position as the majority white American.

How big is the power of HOPE....don't forget, never lost the fate on the hope you have, hope is actually the biggest power you could ever have in you.

First win for Obama, will it be a good omen?

Just on the news, Obama won at 2 towns in New Hampshire. I wonder if it will help drum up those undecided voters to vote for him, will it be a good omen for him? We shall see 24 hours from now :s fingers crossing everyone!!!!!
